What are your goals for the year?
To help students feel successful in their classrooms.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Meat. I really don’t like it.
What do you think makes Ames different than other districts?
The sense of community. The staff is very welcoming and inviting.
What makes your teaching stand out?
I try to mix up everything each day so my students don’t get bored.
What’s one thing that your students should know about you?
I’m fun, but when it comes down to business, I mean business.
If you could be a tropical animal, which would it be?
A dolphin. I’d like to swim around
