Adele Breaks Silence With New Album ’30’, Coming 11/19
Hello from the other side. Adele, born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, was brought into this world on May 5, 1988. She is known for her variety of top-charting songs and her emotional, soulful voice. She just broke her 6 year streak of silence and is surprising her fans with a brand new album, “30”, coming November 19th.
Adele’s rise to stardom dates back to 2006, when she graduated from the BRIT School (British Performing Arts and Technology) and got signed with “XL records”. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008 and snagged her the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2009. In addition to Best New Artist, she also got Best Female Vocal Performance for her top-charting songs “Chasing Pavements” and “Make You Feel My Love”. Adele’s second album, 21, was released in 2011 and it became the best-selling albumof the 21st century. Through songs for James Bond movies and world tours for her tens of millions of fans, Adele has left a major imprint on this world and the music industry that will remain for centuries to come.
Adele has one child, Angelo Adkins, who is 9 as of 2021. Adele went public with her relationship with Simon Konecki in mid-2011. Konecki is known for his success as the CEO of Drop4Drop, and for dating Adele, obviously. They divorced in 2019 because Adele was “not happy in the marriage”. She reports she was “going through the motions, and [..] wasn’t happy”. Adele channeled these emotions into music, her favorite outlet. She hosted a live video on Instagram Live to talk to fans in real time about her new album. During this live, she discussed her 6 year absence from the limelight, the contents of the album, and a sneak peak to her new single. She released “Easy on Me” on October 15, 2021 as a single to her new album. This new album, 30, is “about divorce babes”.
The track list for 30 was released on November 1, 2021 and includes 15 songs, 3 of which are Target exclusives. The most notable song names on the album are “I Drink Wine”, “Woman Like Me”, and “Wild Wild West”. I think with these whirlwind of song names we are all in for a real treatwith this new album. She was reported saying this album was created during “the most turbulent time in [her] life”. It’s fair to assume that this album is going to break Adele’s record as we’ve seen it before. Her fans have been waiting for this for 6 years, and she seems ready to fulfill their needs.
The album will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, and the radio, of course. Christmas is coming early this year! Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for November 19! Happy Adele Season!
