McKenzie Reimer, Co-Editor In Chief
McKenzie Reimer is a creature of bad habit. When not hiding in her room from the crippling responsibility of growing up, she can usually be found working for the man as an apparel associate, buying yet another copy of her favorite book, Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice, or obsessing over her favorite superhero, Spiderman. McKenzie’s new life motto is “Good for you, not for me” from The New York Times number one bestseller, Yes Please by Amy Poehler. As a somehow senior at Ames High School, McKenzie is now faced with the difficult decision of what she wants to do with her life. Her response to this difficult, and often asked question, is to run and hide behind someone tall. Which is not hard to do at only 5’2”. In reality, with her love of reading and writing, she wants to soon major in Journalism and Mass Communications or Creative Writing. McKenzie’s hopes for her last year at Ames High School are quite simple. 1) Be one of the best Co-Editor in Chiefs that the Ames High Web has ever had, and 2) get through this year without spiraling into an existential crisis.
